Faisal Mosque

Iconic modern landmark

The Faisal Mosque is Pakistan's national mosque, sited on the foothills of the Margalla Hills and named after King Faisal of Saudi Arabia, who funded its construction. Designed by Turkish architect Vedat Dalokay in a contemporary eight-sided form inspired by a Bedouin tent, it's the sixth-largest mosque in the world.
